Absurdist Press is a small venture, and we are working hard day and night to craft new stories for you, with new chapters coming in April of this year. That being said, we do need some help with the overhead.
We think our associated artists deserve to get paid for what they make. We also believe that our work should be as accessible as possible. This is the reason our stories are free to read digitally. We only charge for physical issues. But still, physical issues cost money to print and the art and writing processes take a good amount of labor.
All this considered, we are starting up a Patreon page, with what we believe to be reasonable prices for what you’re receiving.
The pricing is as follows:
-$1/month will get you access to the Absurdist Newsletter, keeping you updated on all things squidly, as well as an invitation to the Absurdist Discord Server, where you can talk to the creators directly.
-$5/month will get you everything listed above, plus early uploads of all stories! Stories will upload a week before they drop on our website, starting the last week of March 2025.
-$10/month will get you everything listed above and your name printed in the back of every publication that month!
Obviously, we can’t force anybody to join up, but I can tell you that it would definitely help with keeping the project running smoothly!
