Greetings, my excellent friends!
It’s been a while. We are still uploading Speed of Strife, our fall release for 2022, but there is still so much more left to come. I’d like to start by saying thank you to all of our followers on Royal Road and everyone else who has been keeping up with the stories. Your continued support means the world to us.
Now, onto the meat of the issue. Starting with the end of Speed of Strife, we will be releasing our stories in seasons. Meaning, a story in spring, a story in summer, and so on. This means that we will be taking about a month’s break between the online release of Speed of Strife and the release for Absurd Fantasy Volume One. Those who have already bought the volume should be familiar with the stories related to Absurd Fantasy, but I’ll update you in case you aren’t.
Absurd Fantasy is the first in an anthology series by Absurdist Press. These will focus on character introductions to the larger universe and telling stories in the background happenings of the world at large. The stories included in Absurd Fantasy Volume One are:
- The Righteous Red Fury
- The Vengeful Blade of Macbeth
- Growing Forget-Me-Nots
- Gilgrim Hammerfist and the Chronicles of Chaos
- Blood and Plunder Origins
These stories will start uploading somewhere in late December, marking our final uploads for 2022. This will also be our winter release for this year.
Our release seasons for 2023 include, but are not limited to:
- SPRING (MARCH): Blood and Plunder: Learning the Ropes by Nathaniel Keihm
- SUMMER (JUNE): Cuttlefish & The Valkyrie by Denver Martin-Brown
- FALL (SEPTEMBER): The Colossal Captain Chameleon by Jude Profit
- WINTER (DECEMBER): Absurd Fantasy Volume Two
This list is subject to change, but it is the draft we’ve been working with and we will try our best to stick with it. We will inform you of any changes throughout the release process as they arise.
For now, though, enjoy Speed of Strife and keep strapped in for Absurd Fantasy Volume One. We have a lot of really fun stories planned and we can’t wait to share them with you. Thanks for keeping this going.
Best wishes to all,
-Jude Profit (Siren and Cobalt, The Vengeful Blade of Macbeth)
